The Interim Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence policy is a University of California policy that reinforces the University’s commitment to creating and maintaining a community where all individuals who participate in university programs and activities can work and learn together in an atmosphere free of harassment, exploitation or intimidation.
The interim policy was issued to meet obligations of recent changes to laws and task force recommendations while the University continues to engage the UC community in discussions and reviews around the policy. The final policy is expected to be in place by the start of 2016.
This interim policy update is effective June 17, 2015, and applies to all University employees and students.
